Rivers re-run: Wike withdraws over 3 billion naira from the State coffer
Reliable information has it that Governor Wike has given approval for heavy siphoning of funds from the Rivers State Government accounts to further bribe & compromise officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In just one sweep, the source said, N2.5Billion was moved from Rivers State Government Zenith Bank account to one of Governor Wike’s cronies’ account
The source who works with the State Ministry of Finance revealed that the transfer was made in just this period to one “insignificant” Civil Engineering Company which Governor Wike had used overtime. The N2.5B transferred was for no determinable and specific job.
The source, who appears very certain, has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to commence investigation on Zenith Bank and the company which she referred to as D-2-D Limited.
