Olatunbosun joins Lanlehin to woo Ogunpa, Aleshinloye, Challenge traders for ADC
The standard bearer of the African Democratic Congress, ADC for Ibadan North West / South West federal constituency in this month national assembly elections Dr. Wasiu Adewale Olatubosun on Wednesday joined the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Sen. Olufemi Solagbade Lanlehin to solicit support from the electorates.
The campaign cruise was targeted at taking the ameliorating programs and candidacies of many hopefuls of the party to the door steps of the traders, residents and opinion moulders domiciled in Ibadan South West Local Government area of the state. The canvass of support from the ecstatic passersby, traders and interior residents of different communities who trooped out in large number afforded Sen. Lanlehin to highlight lofty programs being conceived for the wellbeing of the inhabitants of the state.
The procession which choked the major commercial activities of Ogunpa, Lebanon, Aleshinloye, Apata, Challenge, Molete, Idi Arere, Oja’ba, Gege and other prominent markets and areas for several hours of the day enabled the campaigners of various candidates of the party to gain more hearts for their respective principals with the electric jubilation and fanfares from the massive onlookers.
Meanwhile, Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun has assured the professional printers and residents of Idi Ishin Police Barracks of purposeful representation if supported to emerge as next legislative officer of the federal constituency in the next political dispensation.
He made the avowal at separate campaign meetings with the printing professional and residents of police quarters at Iyana Lodge and Idi Ishin, Ibadan North West and South West areas respectively.
Addressing the inhabitants of police quarters, Olatubosun disabused the minds of the teeming dwellers of the community of being marginalized as usual by the faceless elected political officers in the recent past. He promised to accede to the myriad of developmental requests by the people of the quarters in assuaging their suffering in the lack of potable water, socio-economic empowerment for the women and widows, provision of gainful employment for different set of young minds and lot more.
Consequently, the Association of Professional Printers of Nigeria(ASSPON), Ibadan South West Local Government chapter has also been prayed to charge their teeming members to embrace the African Democratic Congress, ADC in the fast approaching general elections.
The admonition was sounded on Wednesday by the candidate of the party for Ibadan North West / South West federal constituency at the weekly meeting of the group.
Olatubosun who was praised as a member of the body explicitly unveiled the cardinal programs of the party to the curios gathering which was later dominated by passerby.
He implored the printers to help the leading opposition party, ADC in redefining the gloomy fates of the residents of the state in salvaging the state from the grip of the All Progressives Congress, APC through the next balloting. In the assembly presided over by Mr. Kayode Famurewa, the chairman of the printing association having jaw jawed of many challenges militating against the progress of the profession it was unanimously agreed among the rank and file of the body to en masse vote all the candidates of the party in the next electioneering.
