Fayose Cronies to Use Seven Million Naira as Transport Allowance to Abuja
The outgoing government of Ayodele Fayose is leaving no stone unturned at looting the State treasury before the incoming administration of Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
Using some civil servants as conduit pipe for the looting, the state government is trying all means to process a loan for housing scheme from the Federal Mortgage Bank in Abuja, the federal capital.
One will wonder why the State Government is trying to use a fictitious housing loan scheme from the mortgage bank to siphon public fund to the tune of seven million naira as basic travelling allowance(BTA). This is a government that is owing Ekiti workers and pensioners for up to eight(8) months wages and emoluments.
Recall the incoming governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, through his special adviser on media, Yinka Oyebode, warned the public on plans by the present administration to sell off some government properties to cronies. The last has however not been heard as they have concluded plans with an approval by the GM Housing Corporation to dupe the State of Seven million naira (7,031,208) as travelling allowance for a day trip to Abuja, to process a purported housing scheme loan at the twilight of Fayose administration.
The proposal, according to document the obtained from the office of the Head of Service revealed that the funds for the processing of the project is on the verge of being released to an account domiciled at Keystone Bank.
All the officers involved are hereby advised to act with caution and restraints in the interest of the state and suffering Ekiti workers and pensioners.
